Local school project takes step forward

Plans to build a new school at Mountain Home Air Force Base took another step forward earlier this month as Congressman Mike Simpson highlighted the inclusion of more than $6.4 million in federal funding to build this facility.

Money to fund this project was included in the Community Project Funding in the Fiscal Year 2026 Transportation, Housing and Urban Development and Related Agencies Appropriations Act.
