City representatives tour charter school

Following months of work aimed at allowing its campus to grow, administrators at Richard McKenna Charter High School provided a first-hand look at a project that provided new classrooms and other educational outlets for its students.

During an open house event Friday afternoon, Dennis Wilson, who serves as the superintendent of this charter school district, led local business owners, city officials, local law enforcement members and chamber of commerce representatives through the school in which they gained an up-close look of the features included in this $9.8 million project at the campus on South Haskett Street.
