Feeling need for speed & safety

Theodore Loven prepares to rev up a race cart as the eight year old takes part in a youth camp program held Friday morning at the Mountain Home Speedway across the street from Optimist Park.

More than two dozen children and teens took part in the free event, which focused on the basic safety rules when it comes to racing on designated race tracks.
