FFA team reflects on visit to Italy, France

Among the information members of the Future Farmers of America team learned during their tour overseas included the different ways ranchers in Italy raise their cows. Along with feeding this cattle with different varities of food, limited water resources keeps these ranchers from allowing their cattle to grow to adulthood.

Students from the Future Farmers of America organization at Mountain Home High School paused to reflect on the various farming and agricultural lessons they learned following their visit to communities across Italy and France as part of a scheduled event.

Spanning an entire week, the FFA chapter’s trip took them to four cities in both countries that provided them with a first-hand look at how farming and ranching differs from what they’ve learned during similar visits in communities across parts of Idaho.
