Dispatch agreement takes a step forward

The dispatch agreement faced a setback last year following a missed payment city officials provide to the county to support non-emergency situations reported in Mountain Home.

Plans to restore a dispatch agreement between Mountain Home and Elmore County took another step forward as the city council addressed a revised version of this document as they met during a scheduled meeting July 8.

The meeting continued a series of discussions involving emergency dispatch services, which looked at possibly ending after city officials failed to make a payment for these services before the deadline last November.
