Glenns Ferry officials dedicate boat ramp

Glenns Ferry Mayor Billy Galloska is joined by city council members David Payne, Steve Alderman and Jordan Thomas as others took part in the ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the opening of the kayak boat launch area at the Eddie Bostic Recreation Area. The launch site became their first in Elmore County to meet federal requirements outlined in the Americans with Disabilities Act and allows people easier access to climb into and out of kayak and canoes along this part of the Snake River.

Looking to provide safer, easier ways for people to climb aboard their kayaks on the Snake River, city officials gathered at a boat docks in Glenns Ferry to officially open a new way for people to enter this waterway.
During a ceremony held June 27, Glenns Ferry Mayor Billy Galloska cut the ribbon to celebrate the kayak launch site at the Eddie Bostic Recreation Area.
