Building added to high school’s campus

Located at the corner of East Jackson and North 10th East streets, the Bennett Mountain Basecamp building aims to support programs to provide needed support to students dealing with various academic and behavioral issues in addition to other community-based activities, according to Principal Stehvn Tesar.

Looking to provide additional support to students and families in the Mountain Home community, officials with the Mountain Home School District approved plans to relocate a portable building from Mountain Home High School to the campus at Bennett Mountain High School.

Known as the Bennett Mountain Basecamp, the single-story structure plans to serve as a “community launch point,” said Stehvn Tesar, the principal at the alternative high school located at the corner of East Jackson and North 10th East streets.
