The drug testing company used the library’s back meeting room and restroom to conduct random drug screenings with the door to this room remaining locked as a way to separate this area from the rest of the library during those tests.

A review of city policy late last month prompted officials to cancel drug testing conducted at the Mountain Home Public Library by a Treasure Valley company.
Representatives with the Wienhoff Drug Testing organization reserved and paid the reservation fee to use the meeting room on the back side of the library to perform random drug testing involving people from the Mountain Home area.
