Edwina L. Myers

Edwina L. Myers, 66 passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 12, 2025, surrounded by her daughters Celeste & Holly at St. Joseph's Health Hospital in Syracuse, New York.

She was born on August 11, 1958, in Birmingham, Alabama. She was 1 of 4 children born to Horace & Mildred Fincher. Ed as many close friends knew her by, was raised in San Antonio, Texas. At the age of 17, Ed enlisted in the Texas National Guard & later enlisted in the USAF. In September 1977 she married Jeffery D. Myers (Ret. MSgt). Their first duty station together was Cannon AFB, New Mexico, 2nd duty station Clark AFB, Philippines then lastly to Mountain Home AFB, Idaho. Ed retired early after 17 years of honorable service. Years later Ed moved to Oneida, NY to be closer to her sister & brother.

Ed is survived by her two daughters Celeste Whitlock and Holly Slover. Her grandchildren, Nolan Slover, Dru Slover, Evan Whitlock, & Autumn Whitlock. Many nephews, nieces & friends. Ed was preceded in death by her parents & siblings, Brenda Radomski, Mike Fincher, & Sandra Crosby.
