City of Mountain Home Reports Mountain Lion SIGHTING ALERT

LAST NIGHT (6/24/2025), a young mountain lion was spotted around the 1300 block of East 18th North.

✅ Fish and Game have been notified and advise: DO NOT CHASE if spotted - hopefully he will return to the wild on his own.

🔍 SIGNS A Mountain Lion IS IN THE AREA:

Tracks: Round-shaped prints with no visible claws (unlike dog prints)
