City pool complex set to open Saturday

In preparation for the opening of the city’s outdoor pool complex, newly hired lifeguards took time to practice their life-saving skills as they gathered at the pool last week.

People in the Mountain Home community prepare to take the plunge this Saturday as they celebrate the reopening of the city’s outdoor swimming complex.

Officially marking the completion of a project that worked to restore the community’s pool over the past year, the outdoor pool at Richard Aguirre Park opens to the public at noon that day as the city parks and recreation department hosts what it referred to as a non-stop swimming event that continues Sunday morning.
