Patriot Thunder takes place this Sunday

Organizers for the annual Patriot Thunder event encourage people in the local area to line up along stretches of East 8th North Street on Sunday as the Patriot Thunder riders make their way to Carl Miller Park following the yearly trek from Meridian.

People in the Mountain Home community prepare to celebrate the sound of thunder as it returns here Sunday morning during a yearly observance aimed at showing appreciation for those who serve this nation.

Celebrating its 15th anniversary, Patriot Thunder represents the state’s premier military family charity motorcycle event that directly helps service members, veterans and their families, said Allan Niksich, who serves on the committee that organizes this yearly event.
