County commissioner needs to work better

The fiscal year 2025 salary for our three Elmore County commissioners is $53,553.05 each. Commissionaires Bud Corbus and Al Hofen rarely miss a board agenda meeting, but I can’t say the same for Commissioner Crystal Rodgers.

After extensive research, the record shows Ms. Rodgers is absent from meetings often. Is there a particular reason why?

I certainly hope it’s not due to health conditions.

Nevertheless, it appears Commissioner Rodgers may have “bitten off more than she can chew.” Any politician should be educated, experienced, skilled or trained in the science of administration of effective government.

Try to do better, Commissioner Rodgers.
