People participate in community Volksmarch

People make the trek up the road leading out of the pavilion at Legacy Park as they began their trek across the community walking path as they took part in the community’s first Volksmarch event.

Close to 100 people from the Mountain Home area took time to get into step as they joined together to take a stroll through the community walking path as they took part in the city’s first Volksmarch.

Held May 31, participants began the walk as they scaled up the road leading up from the lower level of Legacy Park and continued to walk an additional five to 10 kilometers across the Mountain Home Pathway System on the north side of town.
