Local law enforcement takes part in torch run

Members from the local law enforcement community make their way along American Legion Boulevard as they take part in this year’s Statewide Law Enforcement Torch Run.

Members from the Mountain Home Police Department, Elmore County Sheriff’s Office and Idaho State Police joined forces June 2 as they took part in a state-wide effort to help children dealing with various physical and mental challenges in their lives.

Together, these law enforcement teams worked to raise money for the Idaho Special Olympics organization as they took part in the 2025 Statewide Law Enforcement Torch Run.
