Lions Club hosts youth triathlon event

Clear skies and rising temperatures didn’t seem to sway the nearly 100 children and teens who gathered at the Tiger Field near Mountain Home High School as they took part in a community fitness competition.

Hosted by members of the Mountain Home Lions Club, the children’s triathlon recently celebrated its second anniversary as it welcomed nearly double the number of preschoolers and students attending this year compared to when it debuted last August.
