Tribal officials dispel casino project rumors

Representatives with the Shoshone-Bannock tribes worked to dispel rumors and misleading information circulating in the Mountain Home area regarding its ongoing effort to develop a casino, hotel and entertainment complex on the city’s north side.

“We are aware of recent false claims suggesting the project has been cancelled. These rumors are untrue,” said Roselynn Yazzie, a spokesperson with the Shoshone-Bannock tribes.
