Students win honors during essay contest

Students from schools in the Mountain Home area shared their personal perspectives of American patriotism as they took part in a yearly contest hosted by the local American Legion Auxiliary 26 organization.

During a ceremony held earlier this month, two students from Stephensen Elementary School at Mountain Home Air Force Base joined one from West Elementary School and another from Hacker Middle School as they shared their perspectives with regards to patriotism as they took part in this year’s Americanism Essay Contest.
