Efforts to detect early signs of breast cancer among patients in the Mountain Home area took a step forward as members of the St. Luke’s Elmore Medical Center officially dedicated the arrival of a new mobile clinic service at the local hospital.

City officials joined members of the local medical center as they took part in a ribbon-cutting ceremony May 16 to celebrate the addition of the new breast health mobile clinic, which provides the hospital with enhanced three-dimensional mammogram screenings.
