AFAD theme entries due

This year’s Air Force Appreciation Day celebration is scheduled for Sept. 6 with some preliminary activities planned for the evening of Sept. 5.

Officials with the Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce continue to seek help from local residents to select a theme for this year’s Air Force Appreciation Day.

The theme for the event appears on tickets and posters promoting AFAD, which pays tribute to those stationed at Mountain Home Air Force Base and other military members living in Idaho.
