BLM seeks input on geothermal project

Officials with the Bureau of Land Management in Boise continued to seek the public input regardings plans to lease thousands of acres of land in parts of Elmore County as part of a geothermal leasing agreement.

The lease agreements include sections of land north of the interstate between Hammett and Glenns Ferry with additional parcels located further north of the highway in addition to a separate area between Mountain Home and Mountain Home Air Force Base.
