Gunshot possibly linked to power outage

An investigation continued last week regarding a downed utility line near a local power plant that triggered a power outage west of Mountain Home.

Elmore County sheriff’s deputies started the investigation after a crew from Idaho Power responded to a report of the power outage off Simco Road on April 18.
