Yearly barbecue event slated for Sunday

Boy Scouts represernting troops across the state plan to continue a yearly tradition on Sunday as they make the hike up to the Camp Wilson barbecue site, where they plan to take part in the yearly fundraising event.

A tradition continues in the Pine-Featherville area north of Mountain Home as organizers host the 78th Annual Camp Wilson Barbecue, which runs from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at 2449 North Pine Featherville Road, approximately five miles north of Pine.

The barbecue concludes the weekend’s activities that honor Boy Scouts who take part in the yearly camporee held nearby.
