City presents lifetime achievement honor

Glenns Ferry Mayor William Galloska presents Vicki Smith with the certificate honoring her husband, Dale Smith, who earned the community’s first lifetime achievement award during a ceremony held April 17 at the Three Island Senior Center.

Honoring his years of service to the Glenns Ferry community, people gathered at the Three Island Senior Center earlier this month to present him with the city’s first lifetime achievement award.

Dale Smith earned this honor in recognition of his accomplishments that “touched every corner” of this community, including its children and teens as well as its senior citizens and military veterans, city officials said.
