After decades of remaining the only Native American tribe in Idaho without revenue from tribal gaming, representatives with the Shoshone-Paiute tribes started the process to develop their first resort and casino west of Mountain Home.
Located along I-84 where Ada and Elmore counties meet, the project seeks to reconnect tribal members to their ancestral homelands and provide them with an important tool for self-reliance and tribal sovereignty, officials said.
