John Lewis Holley

John Lewis Holley was born December 22nd, 1932 in Hobbs, New Mexico.

John peacefully passed away December 25, 2024 in Nampa, Idaho surrounded by family.

At an early age his family moved to Vale, Oregon to live on a farm just outside of town.

During high school, the family moved into the local town and John helped his father run the family concrete business. It was then he met the love of his life Marilyn Chad in whom he had been married to for 60 years, until her passing in 2018.

John and Marilyn got married in 1953 before he had been drafted to Korea in the same year. John also served in Vietnam and spent 20 years in the United States Air Force.

He retired from the service in 1974 in Mountain Home, Idaho. John always had wanted to retire here in Mountain Home and spent most of his final years here.

John is survived by his only son and his wife, Jeffery and Andra (Anderson) Holley.

We will be holding a graveside memorial in honor of John Holley on January 10th, 2025 @ 11am at the Mountain View Cemetery in Mountain Home, Idaho.
