Holiday parade sign ups continue

City firefighters are among the various groups, organizations and businesses who take part in the yearly Parade of Lights festival in Mountain Home each year. The event represents the start of the holiday season.

City officials continued this week to accept reservations from local businesses and private clubs and organizations wanting to take part in this year’s Christmas Parade of Lights event.

Scheduled to start at 6 p.m. Dec. 6 next to the Fire Station 1, the parade celebrates the first “official” appearance of Santa Claus in Mountain Home.
