Boat launch closes at Strike Dam reservoir

The closure at the north park area comes as work began to provide needed upgrades to the existing pier at C.J. Strike Dam.

Idaho Power’s boat launch at the C.J. Strike Dam’s north park area remains closed to public access through the end of December as work began this week to update the existing pier structures at the launch area.

The closure includes all pier structures in the area, starting at the boat ramp and extending west toward the dam at the nearby C.J. Strike Marina facility maintained by the outdoor recreation agency at Mountain Home Air Force Base.
