Lane Weston Lepka
Lane was born October 30th, 1997 and died unexpectedly at his home on August 4, 2024. He was born at Eglin AFB near Fort Walton Beach Florida to Scott Lepka and Vickey Maxey. Growing up in Florida he started school and enjoyed sports like baseball and flag football. In 2007, Lane then moved with his mother and sister Lauren, to Pottstown Pennsylvania. There he finished elementary and middle school and started high school at Pottsgrove High School. During this time his activities included basketball, cross-country running, skateboarding and developed his artistic skills painting and drawing. Lane moved to Mountain Home, Idaho in 2014 to finish his last two years of school as a Tiger. There he discovered his love of motorcycles and the outdoor activities of camping, hiking, and fishing to name a few.
Lane had a handful of jobs during and after school, working fast food at KFC, maintaining grounds with Yard Masters and finally moving into sales as Parts Manager in both the automotive and marine industries. He worked at places that included Mountain Home Auto Ranch, Prestige Water Sports, and BMW dealerships.
Those who know Lane will remember his smile, laughter, and his compassion for others. Lane enjoyed the outdoors hiking, fishing, rock hounding and most of all riding his motorcycles through the desert.
He was a father, a son, a brother, and a great friend to those who had the blessing of knowing him. Lane will for now and always be remembered and loved by everyone that he touched in this life.
Lane is survived by his son Kayden Lepka, Katelyn McCoy (Kayden's mother), mother Vickey Maxey, father, Scott Lepka and girlfriend Wendy Moore, sister Lauren Kainrath and Ryan Kainrath, nieces Charlotte and Florence Kainrath, brother Riley Maxey, grandparents Stan and Susie Lepka, Janet Podhola, cousin AJ Lepka, uncles Sam Softich and Brian Hook, aunts Sarah Ridgeway and Trya Softich. He was preceeded by grandparents Sonia Softich and Duane Podhola.
The service for Lane Weston Lepka will be at 11 am on September 14 at the First Congregational Church, 515 E 15 N St., Mountain Home, ID 83647.
