Tim was born in Montana on February 23, 1950 to Era Zittel and Gilbert Blair Alderman. He is the youngest of his siblings and was raised primarily in Nampa, Idaho. He was raised with a love of horses and the outdoors. Tim married young to Bert Robertson, and had his oldest child, Steven, from that marriage. At age 21, Tim met and married Ednah Kay Alderman and they made their life in Glenns Ferry, Idaho. Tim and Ednah Kay raised their three boys, Steven, James and Michael with a love of the outdoors, fishing, hunting and camping. He also shared his love of horses and animals with them. Glenns Ferry became Tim’s true home with family extending to lifelong friends and neighbors. Ednah Kay sadly passed away in 2002 after a long battle with cancer. He met and married is current wife, Diane Landreth, approximately 10 years ago and they made their life together in Glenns Ferry. Tim had a ritual of morning coffee with his fellow early risers at Hansens Café to share the morning’s gossip and tell tall tales. Tim had a wonderful sense of humor and a fierce love of family. Tim sadly passed away after a battle with Cancer on January 3, 2024. Tim always had a tall tale of massive deer spotted on Bennett Mountain and he loved to tease. Tim is loved by family and friends and is sadly missed with his passing. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ednah Kay and daughter in law Brenda Alderman. He is survived by his wife Diane, and his three sons, Steven Alderman (Amy Alderman), James Alderman (Michelle Wilson) and Timothy Michael Alderman. He has four grandchildren, Kayleigh, Landin, Kooper and Bennett Alderman. Per Tims wishes he was cremated, and ashes will be spread in the places he called home and felt at peace.
