Utilizing the past for the future

On Saturday, March 2nd, the Mountain Home Fire Department had a scheduled building burning. The MHFD team had the opportunity to utilize one of the old dormitory buildings of the former Sequel Three Springs School.

The city purchased the former school when the company shut down Mountain Home operations in June of 2022. The building had been condemned due to mold that took hold of the facility while the legalities of ownership were established over the course of two years.
