Glenns Ferry Opera House receives $100k Idaho grant

Glens Ferry, Dec. 14, 2023 – The Glenns Ferry Historic Opera Theater was selected by the Idaho Heritage Trust to receive $100,000.00 in funding to support the restoration of the building. The money provided by this award will go directly to restoring the building parapet to its original design.

They are proud to be one of the nine historic theatres to receive $821,000 in funding through IHT’s Historic Theatre Revitalization Subgrant Program. The goal of which is to facilitate the restoration and preservation of these vital structures in Idaho’s rural communities (defined as having a population less than 50,000 people).
