Dear Mountain Home News readers,

We will be invaded with political rhetoric for the next couple of years. Not looking forward to anything is a sign that big changes are needed. Nevertheless, Americans will be electing (re-electing), our 47th president of the United States of America sooner than we think.

I’d like to offer some insight which includes moral authority, and the lack of principles when one commits plagiarism. Plagiarism is copying text or taking ideas from someone else’s work and using them as if they were one’s original work. The following is the original thought by William J. Bennett in his book titled: ‘The DEATH of OUTRAGE.’

“Moral authority is when a president deals with the issues that affect (people’s) families, educating our children, dealing with jobs, and when he deals with the economy.” (unq). - William J. Bennett, Author

Our POTUS is a role model whether he likes it or not, and must have high moral standards as did George Washington (1st), John Adams (2nd), Abraham Lincoln (16th), Theodore Roosevelt (26th), and Franklin D. Roosevelt (32nd). Only God knows who our 47th president of the greatest country in the world will be!

“Some people are born losers; others acquire the knack gradually.” W.C. Fields
