Jonathan Daniel Parsons

July 24th 1968 - October 29th 2023

Jonathan Daniel Parsons passed away on October 29th, 2023, in Mountain Home surrounded by his family. John was born to Eugene V. Parsons, Sr., and Majohna R. Parsons on July 24th, 1968, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

John was someone you could never forget once you met him. He had a career in HVAC and housing maintenance. His favorite part of his job was making people laugh.

He enjoyed fishing, camping, movies, spending time with family, and was a brilliant artist.

John came from a military family and moved frequently as a child, his most memorable years being spent on the Oregon Coast at Hebo AFB, Oregon. He then resided in Idaho in the Glenns Ferry and Mountain Home area as an adult until he moved in 2004-2009 with his family to Dutch Harbor, Alaska. He then returned to Mountain Home for the remainder of his life.

John was preceded in death by his mother, Majohna R. Parsons.

He is survived by his three children, Robert D. Parsons, Covin T. Parsons (Vicky) and Breanna M. Ivey (Sam); his father, Eugene Parsons; his brothers, Matt (Brook) and Vencen Parsons; his granddaughter

Sophie J. Ivey; nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life for John will be held on November 17th, 2023 at 11:00 am. At Rost Funeral Home.
