Dear Mountain Home News readers,

Universal Basic Income (UBI), has both pros and cons. However, its potential benefits make it an interesting policy option for governments around the world.

PRO’S: Reduces poverty, Fights unemployment, Greatly Improves Work Incentives, Provides Financial Security, Controls Discrimination, and Boosts Self-Employment/Entrepreneurship.

CON’S: Decreases Motivation to Work, Retards Economic Growth, Highly Expensive, Inequality/Injustice, and lastly High Taxes and Inflation.
