Tom Hatcher

Tom Hatcher, 65, of Mountain Home, Idaho, passed away on October 10, 2023. Born on January 2, 1958, in San Bernardino, California, Tom was a hardworking man who dedicated his life to his career as a mechanic. He worked both as a mechanic and a mechanic supervisor, specializing in light to heavy-duty equipment. Tom also had experience as a heavy equipment operator.

Tom leaves behind a loving family, including his wife Teresa, and his children Thomas Hatcher Jr (Janessa) and Allen Hatcher (Heather). He was also a cherished grandfather to Rosemarie Gandenberger, Thomas Hatcher 3rd, Macey Hatcher, Carsyn Walters, Amelia Hatcher, Camryn Walters, and Acelyn Hatcher. Tom was preceded in death by his father Boyd Lane Hatcher, his mother Carol Sue Smith, his sister Teresa Hatcher, and his nephew Brandon Mespelt.

In his free time, Tom enjoyed various hobbies such as hunting, fishing, camping, riding motorcycles, and skiing (both water, downhill and cross country). He found solace in nature and the thrill of outdoor activities. Tom attended Mountain Home High School and later went on to pursue a successful career in the mechanical industry. He was highly skilled and respected in his field. Tom's religious affiliation was with the Catholic Church. He found comfort and community in his place of worship.

A Memorial and Visitation will be held on Monday, October 16, 2023, at 11:00 am at Rost Funeral Home 500 N. 18th E., Mountain Home, Idaho 83647. In lieu of contributions, the family kindly requests that you keep Tom's memory alive in your hearts and thoughts
