Owyhee County Sheriff searching for shooting suspect

Murphy Idaho - On the night of 9/28/23 at approximately 11pm, a deputy from the Owyhee County Sheriff's Office and Idaho State Police Troopers were dispatched to a residence on Tindall Road in Bruneau, Idaho for a shooting that had occurred at the residence.

The victim was shot once in the leg and transported by air ambulance to a Boise hospital and is in stable condition. The Sheriff's Office has an active warrant of arrest and is currently looking for the suspect, a Gilberto T. Rodriguez who may be driving a green Ford F-150 with a brush guard, license plate E153163. This person may be armed and potentially dangerous.
