Earl Dean Cummings was born December 16, 1942 in Montevidio, Minnesota to Earl Melvin Cummings and Martha Langbecker Cummings.

Earl D. Cummings entered the United States Air Force on June 9, 1961 and retired June 30, 1981.

While stationed in Taiwan he fell in love with a beautiful young lady, Kuei Shiang Huang. They were married April 18, 1972. They had one daughter, Ching.

Earl received orders for Grand Forks AFB in North Dakota in 1973. Together they settled down in Larimore, ND for about 18 years. In 1991 they moved to Mountain Home, Idaho because of a new job at Mountain Home Air Force Base working for the Civil Service.

Earl was preceded in death by both his parents; sister, Marilyn; and dear wife, Kuei on May 10, 2014.

On January 24, 2017, Earl found love once again and married Karol VandenBosh. Together they felt it was their two angles in heaven that somehow brought them together. A true blessing for Earl and Karol. They were married for six wonderful years and five months. Everyday seeming like a honeymoon day.

Karol’s love passed away peacefully at home with granddaughter Zoe; grandson Tyler; daughter Ching from Malaysia; and herself by his side. Earl could hear their voices and feel all their deep love as he gently passed on.

Earl’s memorial service will be at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery in Boise on Monday, August 7th at 10:00 AM.
