Editor's Corner 6.21.23

Readers, this week you’ll likely notice a few new additions to the paper (some old features seeing a return) such as the “from the files” section as well as the “weekly poll”. I encourage you to visit our website and engage with the weekly poll, the photo reels, and all that it has to offer. I am always eager to improve on things and make changes that are tailored to our readers and what you all would like to see our little paper become.

As many of you know, I moved here just over a year ago. I moved from Post Falls, Idaho, though I generally tell people I’m from Coeur d’ Alene as it tends to be more familiar to people.

This city or that city aside, the panhandle of our state has a reputation for luscious green forests, vast lakes like the Pend Oreille and Coeur d’ Alene, and plenty of views. So when I moved here, it’s safe to say there was a bit of a shock to the system.
