Trade School Being Built in Glenns Ferry to serve Elmore County

Using the bones of an old high school, one group in Glenns Ferry is working to revamp the structure that will become a trade school for Elmore County and beyond. We spoke with Christy Acord, Elmore County Rural Development Executive Director, about the work in progress and she shared the following information with us: “The old high school was built in the early 1920s, and from research looks to be a Frank Paradise building. This school was built to accommodate the overflow from the other 3 school buildings located in and around the Glenns Ferry region.
