Pride 2023 Kicks Off in June

LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer) Pride Month began on June 1st marking the beginning of marches, celebrations, and other events nationwide.

Pride Month is held in June each year e to advocate for unity, visibility, equality, and, well, pride! The first pride celebration was held in 1970, a year after the Stonewall Uprising in 1969.
