Carlos Martinez

Charles Carlos Martinez, 63, passed away March 28, 2023 with his family at his side. A viewing will be held from 4:30pm to 6:30pm at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel on April 3, 2023. A funeral mass will be held at 12:00pm on April 4, 2023 at Our Lady of Good Counsel, and burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.

Carlos was born on February 3, 1960 in Loma Linda, California to Alfonso and Natividad Martinez. Carlos lived in California most of his life. He moved to Mountain Home, where he worked for C2 Construction for 25 years. He married Tina Diaz in 2014. Together they spent time with great friends and family.

Carlos love fishing, being outdoors, doing side jobs and spending time at the Elks Lodge of which he was a member.

He is survived by his wife Tina, of Mtn Home, his mother Natividad, his brother Ruben and wife Laura Martinez, his sister Lisa and her husband Leonard Partida, all of California, his son Chaz and his wife Melissa Martinez, of North Carolina, 6 grandchildren and 2 step children. He was preceded in death by his father Alfonso Sr., his older brother Alfonso Jr.
