Murder in Moscow Arrest Timeline

Current arrest update in the Nov. 13 2022, Moscow Murder case.

In Washington’s college town of Pullman, which is a short 10 minute drive from Moscow, a white 2015 Hyundai Elantra was found to be registered to a Bryan Kohberger, a graduate student at Washington State University studying criminology. Police gathered video footage and used phone signal records to determine that Kohberger had been in proximity of the crime scene of the murders before his phone produced no signal from roughly 2:47 am to 4:48 am in the area of, and on the morning of the murders which investigators estimate took place between 4:00 am and 4:25 am. This estimate is based on witness statements, phone records between the two surviving roommates, and video of the suspect vehicle which was recorded departing the King Road Residence at around 4:20 am at a high rate of speed.
