Driving in the winter is so dangerous that 21% of crashes a year are weather related. This might not sound like a lot, but there are over 5,891,000 crashes a year. This means approximately 1,235,000 are weather related. Some of the dangers are hydroplaning, black ice, and fog. This can cause collisions that are potentially fatal. Statistically, 1300 people die from these crashes each year. Prevention is the best way to stop accidents, make sure your vehicle is winter ready.
