Incumbent federal lawmakers held off challenges for their offices with local voters once again selecting Senator Mike Crapo and Representative Mike Simpson to remain on Capitol Hill.

Crapo led with 357,750 votes in the Senate race, Democrat David Roth receiving 169,693 votes and Constitution Party candidate Ray J. Writz 8,457.

State Representative Mike Simpson maintained a comfortable lead in his race with 171,636 votes. Democrat Wendy Norman trailed with 98,596 ballots.
