City Planning & Zoning - 9.19.22

The City Planning and Zoning Commission met in regular session at 6 pm on September 19th. The meeting opened with the unanimous approval of the last meeting’s minutes. Following this, the commission was presented with a plan by Walmart to extend their online grocery pickup parking area. Walmart plans to conduct re-striping at crossings, in addition to other safety measures.

After this, the commission approved the preliminary plat for a townhouse development near West 8th South Street. The PUD had already been approved prior to this meeting. They approved the preliminary plot unanimously.

The commission concluded their meeting after unanimously approving the prior finding of facts for denial of the Colthorp Commons being rezoned from an R4 to an R4 PUD unit.

The commission announced a special meeting on the 29th.
