Richard Koelsch and the Koelsch family name should be familiar to Mountain Home residents (if it is not already). Koelsch’s parents, Dr. Michael and Marilou Koelsch, raised Richard in Mountain Home where he graduated from Mountain Home High School in 1998. Koelsch later married Tammy Ker of Mountain Home; together Tammy and Richard have three children, Carson, Owen, and Aubree.

After graduating high school, Koelsch pursued an undergraduate engineering degree from Gonzaga University, and a masters in aerospace engineering from the University of South California.
