A Message from the Elmore County Sheriff Office

On July 8, 2022, the Elmore County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a possible body in the Snake River. Deputies were dispatched and recovered the remains of an adult male who had expired.

The cause of death is under investigation, and the identity of the individual will not be released until next of kin has been located & notified.

At this time, it appears to be death by suicide.

No further information will be released at this time.
