Diane Marie Bacca

Diane Marie Bacca ( Pappas ) 69 years old, passed in her sleep on June 9, 2022. She was at home, with family, under the care of Horizon Home Health and Hospice. She was born in Rapid City, South Dakota and lived in six states and England with her Air Force family. She married Hinkley High School sweetheart David Bacca, in Aurora Co. in July of 1970. The family grew in 1973 at Grand Forks AFB ND, again at Castle AFB CA in 1977 and Lowrey AFB CO in 1979. Dawn, Eve and David all graduated from Mountain Home HS. She was a volunteer with the NCO Wives Club at Tyndall AFB FL, RAF Lakenheath and was president at Mountain Home AFB. She was a resident of Elmore county for 33 years. Many were her friends and her smile meant she never met a stranger anywhere she went. Donations should be given towards Alzheimer's research.
