Daniel Dopps Memorial Rodeo starts this weekend

The seventeenth annual Daniel Dopps Memorial Ram PRCA Rodeo will be held this weekend at Optimist Park in Mountain Home.

The memorial rodeo celebrates the life of a young man whose dream to be a professional rodeo star was cut tragically short in an arena accident on August 10, 2005, when the bull he was riding went down together when the 1800-pound bull he was riding slipped, dug its horn in the ground, and then flipped over head first on top of him.
